Why do we ask about going outside?
Research on the occurrence of myopia and research on slowing down an already existing defect answer other questions. The daily schedule itself does not replace an eye examination.
Ewa Grudzińska and Monika Modrzejewska also discussed the topic of physical activity and the organ of vision in Polish conference reports. The records from 2017 and 2021 are separate; Abstract metadata alone does not allow us to assess the effectiveness of the intervention.
What changed
40 minutes?
In the study by He et al., schools were assigned to groups. In the intervention group, 40 minutes of outdoor activities were added each school day.

What was the result after three years?
9,1 percentage point difference
Frequency difference in study groups, no "9,1% less defect". This result does not indicate an effect for a specific child or for the Polish population.
